It’s easy to get caught up in the details of history—who, when, where—and miss the bigger picture. Take World War II, for example. The dates and facts matter but imagine if the Allies had lost. How would the world look today? Would freedom still reign in Europe? Would Jewish people have a future? Would we be speaking German? The point is history isn’t just about facts—it’s about meaning. The Allies won. That means something.
This Easter season, we also recall the details: who, when, where. These remind us that the resurrection of Christ is not a myth—it’s a real, historical event. But if we stop there, we miss the deeper truth. Jesus won. That means everything. Because He lives, our future is secure—and we have strength for today.
Join us this Easter for our new series: Because He Lives. Let’s explore what Easter really means—and how it changes everything.
